MTX Group Expands GovTech Reach with VerifyID.ai Acquisition

MTX Group has announced the acquisition of VerifyID.ai, a digital identity verification platform specializing in secure, AI-driven identity management solutions for public sector clients. The move strengthens MTX’s position in GovTech, cybersecurity, and AI innovation, supporting government modernization and citizen trust initiatives.

The addition of VerifyID.ai brings advanced facial recognition, document fraud detection, deepfake prevention, and passwordless authentication capabilities under the MTX umbrella. The platform’s decentralized identity (DiD) framework allows agencies to securely manage and verify citizen identities while reducing data vulnerability and enhancing interoperability across systems.
