
CACI Reports $2.3B Q1 FY2026 Revenue, Secures $5B in New Contract Awards
CACI International Inc. opened fiscal year 2026 with solid growth, reporting $2.3 billion in first-quarter revenue, an 11.2% year-over-year increase driven by strong execution across its national security and technology portfolios.
The Reston, Virginia-based defense and IT contractor also posted a total backlog of $33.9 billion, up from $32.4 billion in the same quarter last year. Adjusted diluted earnings per share climbed to $6.85, a 15.5% increase over the prior year, reflecting healthy profitability and operational momentum.

Major Contract Wins
During the quarter, CACI secured multiple significant contracts, including:
A $548 million Department of Defense task order to develop and test electromagnetic spectrum and emerging communications technologies.
A $423 million, 10-year intelligence community contract for software-defined capabilities and mission system development.
A $315 million U.S. Customs and Border Protection task order extension to enhance IT modernization and border enforcement systems.
These new awards expanded CACI’s presence across intelligence, defense, and homeland security missions, reinforcing its leadership in digital modernization and mission technology.
Growth in AI and Counter-Space Capabilities
CEO John Mengucci highlighted growing demand for advanced technologies, including artificial intelligence, counter-space systems, and software-defined solutions that strengthen warfighter readiness and resilience.
Mengucci noted two recent awards that illustrate this focus:
A $240 million U.S. Army contract to sustain and modernize the Tactical Integrated Ground Suite (TIGS) counter-space program.
An initial production order from the U.S. Space Force for the Remote Modular Terminal (RMT) program.
“These programs demonstrate how our software-defined technologies and proven capabilities are enabling mission success across the electromagnetic spectrum,” Mengucci said. “Our strong backlog and $5 billion in awards reinforce our ability to deliver on national security priorities.”
